Teach The Facts is a group of Montgomery County, Maryland, parents and educators that is defending comprehensive sex education from attack by the religious right.

In a July 5 blog entry, TTF blogger/parent Jim Kennedy analyzes PFOX’s nomination of Family Research Council pundit Peter Sprigg to help determine the future of sex education in suburban Washington, D.C.

Elsewhere (recently) on the blog, Kennedy documents a local religious-right coalition’s onslaught of misquotes against TTF.

Here, TTF’s blogger finds PFOX scrambling for new reasons to sue the public school system after the school board gave PFOX a generous settlement. (A Washington Times article about the litigious PFOX is here; the actual settlement is here.)

And finally, TTF calculates what the Montgomery County schools could have done with the $36,000 that will instead be paid to antigay activists and the religious-right Liberty Counsel.
