There’s nobody from PFOX, nor Exodus for that matter, who I’d consider a “friend”, much less a “fair-weathered friend”.

At least FWF’s stab you in the back only half of the time.

I’m not aware of any evidence that PFOX is supportive of gay affirming people or organizations, though our archives are full of evidence that they are rabidly anti-gay.

I mean PFOX supports people who are unsupportive with their gay family members. Eg, if I were gay, my parents would be upset and PFOX would support my parents while neither would support me.

I’m not aware of any evidence that PFOX is supportive of gay affirming people or organizations, though our archives are full of evidence that they are rabidly anti-gay. If you have something which would contradict that, please present it.

FOTF is not an exodus affiliate. Considering the scope of the former, that would be rather silly. However, Exodus and FOTF have an old and deep working relationship, and the former does refer people to the latter.

@Lynn – Is FOF an Exodus affiliate? I thought they were only a sponsor. Good call on the Freedom Federation!

I think Exodus is having such mixed behavior is because people inside Exodus are mixed. I believe Chambers when he says he wants out of politics but I think there are many (like everyone on FOF’s payroll) who believe Exodus is the anti-gay movement’s key to promoting themselves as working in the best interest of gays.
