-The Hawaii House of Representatives passes a civil unions bill.
-Utah State Senator Chris Buttars joins the likes of Sally Kern in declaring that gays are the greatest threat to America.
-The Utah State Legislature rejects even basic legal protections for GLBT individuals.
-Jennifer Vanasco ponders both the good and the bad of the decision by a Michigan TV station to refuse to air an AFA propaganda piece.

You haven’t mentioned the reintroduction of the Uniting the American Families Act which, if passed, would allow gay and lesbian Americans to sponsor partners for immigration purposes. http://www.hrc.org/12129.htm

I just watched the AFA video. Scary stuff. But what struck me the most is that so many of their arguments can go either way. Free speech is OK for Christians, but not for LGBT organizations? I do believe that all people are entitled to their opinions. Neither side should be doing violence to the other, obviously. When the video mentions 10 cases of violent acts by “the gay agenda” against Christians, it is laughable, when so many more acts have been committed by “the Christian agenda” against gays, and for for a very long time.
