There are international protests set up. This is what makes it different from the 60′s and Stonewall: the Internet and the Global Economy. Word is spreading faster than ever; gays are letting themselves be seen more than ever. We will be a world-wide presence on Saturday.

Is it ok to post this? I just read it and thought it basically sums up how I feel about the passing of prop 8, and it is written by Bishop Paul Peter Jesep of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Schenectady, NY:

Anybody have any idea of the attendance numbers at the NARTH conference? It’d be interesting to see how many people have come creeping back since their assorted scandals, especially with Schoenewolf and Berger still on their advisory committee.

I know the last one was around 50. I’ll see if I can find out about this one, or if anyone knows please post.

I remember it being around 50 too. I remember this because I held my Bachelor of Fine Arts Senior Exhibition around the same time as the conference, and wrote a joke post on my blog about how more people came to see the opening of my show than attended the NARTH conference.

I was told they were expecting between 75 to 100 people at the NARTH conference. I have no idea how many actually came.
