I’m not going to be able to make it, but I LOVE this idea for a protest sign.

That suggested billboard is good too. I still like Mr. Kincaid’s suggestion we put up billboards with pictures of recovering ex-gays with the message: “Here’s Your Answer”.

Donations to nonprofit groups such as Truth Wins Out would help make such billboards a reality.

I have a dear friend who is an ex-gay and I witnessed his struggle and also his victory over homosexuality. Even if you don’t or won’t believe the Bible in its entirety, or have hate toward ex-gay ministries clearly biology shows that male and female complement each other. I believe that it is wrong for you to do this. For you to picket these gatherings. People have a right to change their lives if they are unhappy. My friend’s journey was not easy, and he struggled for years going through different phases until he finally obtained the victory. Now he witnesses to other homosexuals and encourages those who desire to be set free. I admire him greatly. For homosexuals who are genuinely convicted and do not desire to be gay any longer there is hope and help for them and that help can be found in the church. Further, I watched a cousin die from AIDS and I saw his misery as a homosexual. The harshest treatment he received were from other homosexuals. When he was dying of AIDS not one of his alleged gay friends cared for him but it was his family who did so. His family of Christian believers. There is a beauty of truth in knowing Christ. His way is the best way. Even in my own personal struggles, I see it. God made them male and female. It’s just that simple. I do not support the homosexual agenda but I love my gay brothers and sisters even though we do not agree at times. I have another friend who is gay and he has no intent on leaving the gay lifestyle but I see the Lord working in his life. I see his heart turning because of the Holy Spirit changing him. If you give God a chance He can and will heal you, it may take time. I say this not because society says you must be straight but because God wants to make you truly whole in Him and be the creation: man or woman He truly intended you to be. God bless you.

    Carla,

I believe that God wants to make you truly whole in Him. I believe he wants you to grow spiritually to the point where you can trust that He has created people the way they are for His plan and purpose. I believe that if you take a step in faith and confirm and bless God’s creation, both gay and straight, that your heart can be opened and the Holy Spirit can draw you closer to God and to understanding that He created gay people and that it is defiance and rebellious pride that seeks to force gay people to be other than what God has preordained. He can heal this confusion and condemnation in your mind and spirit and teach you to love – truly love. He can remove the self righteousness from you and guide you into the person He wants you to be. God bless you.
